I'm Edward Davey, a Registered Social Worker and Psychotherapist (RSW, MSW). I help individuals, couples, and families across Ontario work through what's weighing on them — with practical tools, honest conversation, and zero judgment.
"The best time to plant a tree was twenty years ago.
The second best time is now."

My name is Edward Davey. I have been a Registered Social Worker and Psychotherapist for over five years now. I graduated from my Master of Social Work program at the University of Windsor in early 2020, and I've spent my career since then doing what I love — guiding people through their struggles and toward the lives they actually want.
My approach is collaborative and practical. Therapy with me isn't about lying on a couch talking into the void — it's a working conversation. We'll dig into what's really going on, and you'll leave each session with real, usable tools to practice between appointments. I believe you're stronger and more capable than you feel right now, and my job is to help you see that too.
Whether you're dealing with depression, anxiety, ADHD, or the stress of work and relationships, you don't have to figure it out alone. The hardest part is reaching out — after that, we'll take it one step at a time, together.

"Edward is very professional. Very caring and we're going on this journey together. I can trust him and any questions I have he helps me answer them."
"Over the past year, Edward has been invaluable for helping me sort through my personal and professional life. He is always willing to listen, and frequently goes above and beyond both in our sessions and out. I've always found therapy is a two-way street, and Edward makes it really easy to communicate with his transparency, honesty and his willingness to change his working style to best fit my needs. Thank you for the journey so far!"
"Edward's passion for supporting and empowering his clients radiates through his compassionate, diligent, and insightful approaches. He is prompt to develop personalized therapeutic strategies to help navigate complex mental health challenges. Through his knowledgeable, genuine, and empathetic dialogue, he facilitated an open and trusting environment to discuss deep-rooted traumas and personal challenges. As a result of his commitment and collaboration toward his client's goals, he has significantly impacted my family member's ability to enhance her overall well-being. He drastically enriched her confidence and courage to overcome challenging circumstances and develop enduring life skills to navigate perplexing personality symptoms. I am beyond grateful for his support and the profound positive change in our family's well-being."
"Edward Davey is the type of therapist everyone needs. His kindness and humor encourage personal connection and foster a safe environment to be yourself. Edward does everything he can to help his patients. He listens with empathy and validation and will research how he can best help you. One of his approaches I really appreciate is assigning hands-on methods, or 'homework,' to practice outside of our appointments for self-improvement. I recommend seeing Edward, as your confidence and self-worth will dramatically improve within a few sessions."
"I have spent a lot of my life searching for a therapist I felt completely, or mostly, comfortable with; I have always been picky and have seen quite a few people in my lifetime. Eddie creates a warm environment for an open forum of discussion and has helped me, as well as many others, work through some of their recurring problems. In my eyes, Eddie stands out as an intellectually mature, thoughtful, and wise therapist. He is quite knowledgeable on the subject matter and has access to a plethora of resources for diagnostics, self-discovery, and understanding and treating the specific challenges you bring to him."
"Therapy is something that most of us have heard about, but we never think we will need it...until we do need it (Surprise Surprise). My journey with Edward started not long ago, but it's been a fun self-discovering ride. Ed and I are what I like to think is the 'perfect' therapist and client relationship (now, ED is cringing in his office reading the word 'perfect' because THERE'S NO SUCH THING AS PERFECT, right Ed?). We were open and embracing since the beginning. He was quick to identify my flaws and anxiety triggers and he was eager to make me feel comfortable and secure but at the same time, he held me accountable and made me take action. Edward makes me uneasy, he makes me look deeper at my feeling (Yeah, IT'S SUPER HARD AND UNCOMFORTABLE), he is my accountability when I am going too fast but the truth is HE IS NECESSARY. I hate the fact that I need him, but I am happy that I found an excellent professional to guide me through the major changes that are yet to come. Ed was a great surprise during the hard times. I hope we can continue therapy for a long time."
"I was ready to give up on therapy after struggling to connect with previous therapists and having not-so-great results. Thankfully, I was referred to Edward through a mutual acquaintance, and I wanted to share that since I began working with Edward, my life has only benefited from it. Another great thing about Edward is he met me exactly where I was in life, and allowed me to feel accepted, understood, and safe. Edward continues to place my well-being and mental health as a priority; he's always shown this with respect, dignity, and purpose. I can't think of a better resource to help navigate the journey of one's life than Edward Davey."
